In recent months, the Lucy Beale murder storyline was one of soap’s biggest plots and many viewers were shocked to discover that the culprit was her brother Bobby.
Jane and Ian, Bobby’s parents, have been doing their best to protect Bobby from the truth but it looks though this particular storyline is about to take another twist.
Discussing the plot, Eastenders executive producer, Dominic Treadwell-Collins said that only “part one” has been revealed and there is “a lot more to tell”.

“For us, always at the beginning of the story, it was Ian and Jane, what would you do if you found out one of your children accidentally killed the other? I
“Is Bobby evil? Did he make a mistake? What happens if Bobby accidentally hurt someone at school?

The producer also said that the next part of this storyline would be all about parenthood and the return of Bobby’s grandmother Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) would be “another element to throw into the mix”.
It sounds like there’s a lot more drama on the way to Albert Square…
