“It Could Kill Him” – Corrie Star Opens Up About Upcoming Wedding Drama

Coronation Street star Helen Worth has spoken out about the wedding drama which is set to unfold.

The actress has revealed that her character Gail McIntyre, who is set to wed Michael Rodwell (Les Dennis), is going to get cold feet before walking up the aisle next week.

Andy has been pretending to be Michael’s son Gavin.

Her doubts stem from the secret she is keeping from her future husband (that being that his real son is dead and the person he thinks is his son is not related to him at all).

She told Digital Spy: “The enormity of the lie they are all telling just hits her and she doesn’t think she can go through with it whilst she is keeping something like this from Michael. It is dishonest and she knows that.”

Helen continued: “Really the best thing she could do is sit down quietly and tell him everything and then if he still wants to marry her it is all out in the open, but she genuinely believes the truth could kill him so she can’t do that.

“The only alternative is probably to go through with the wedding and wait until he is well enough to tell him the truth.”
