Multi-award winning singer Adele has been approached to star as a villain in “The Secret Service.”
It’s been reported that the 25-year-old singer has landed a possible cameo role in Matthew Vaughn’s new spy film.
David Beckham and Elton John are already in the star-studded cast.
”Adele is exactly what Matthew is looking for” a source told The Sun.
”He wants the highest-profile names in various fields to boost the film’s cause and turn it into a mega-money franchise.”
”You can’t get much bigger than Adele in music, which is why he’s so keen to get her involved. She’ll be great value on the big screen.”

“The Secret Service” is based on a spy graphic novel by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons and stars Colin Firth and Sir Michael Caine as superagents fighting against a team of baddies headed by Samuel L. Jackson.
Considering that Adele previously won an Oscar for her song in spy blockbuster “Skyfall”, it seems in one way quite fitting that she would be offered a role but there has been no confirmation of an acceptance of the part yet.
Vaughn has already directed another Millar comic book adaptation, ‘Kick-Ass’ and has also helmed “X-Men: First Class.”
