We like to think that we’re Love Island experts at this stage. Yes, if there were a college course on the show, we’d be lecturing or at least getting a seriously impressive grade.
So you can imagine our disappointment in ourselves when we didn’t notice this one big giveaway.
Viewers have copped that there’s a very big clue that lets the islanders know when a dumping is on the way.
Yep, for the last few dumpings on the show, the islanders have been treated to a party beforehand.
Last night, we saw Jack and Laura get voted off the island, but it came right after the remaining contestants enjoyed a villa party.
And while you’d imagine that that would have become obvious to those inside the villa, they all still seem totally surprised when they get the dreaded text to gather around the fire pit.
“Surely the islanders should know by now: when there’s a part, there’s a dumping,” wrote one viewer on Twitter.
“They always give them a party the night they get rid of a couple,” wrote another.
It seems that quite a few viewers have spotted the common occurrence so we’re surprised the islanders haven’t.
