On Saturday night, several people stormed onto the X Factor stage just as Honey G finished her performance.

The stage-invasion received plenty of attention across social media, with some people accusing the X Factor bosses of arranging it to improve ratings.

Now however, English Prankster group Troll Station have proudly owned up to the event.

The Youtubers posted a video of the invasion and can be heard cheering and shouting ‘troll station’.

According to the Mirror the founding member of the prank group, Daniel Jarvis, was once arrested after a prank backfired, leaving him accused of a bomb hoax.

Another member of the group filmed his own video, which showed his dressing as a police man in order to get on stage.

Following the stage invasion, one of the members of the group posted the aftermath of the prank which shows what seems to be a security guard speaking to them.
