Home and Away’s Matt Page is going to find himself in trouble with the law.
The character, played by Alec Snow, will apparently be arrested for the theft of an ATM after policewoman Kat recognises him from a photograph.

According to reports he is taken in for questioning about the incident, which he doesn’t exactly remember as he was drunk on the night it happened. Matt is later charged by the authorities.
Leah is furious about the whole thing and at first doesn’t believe that Matt has done it. It’s only when she finds cash under his mattress that she accepts it as the truth.

Speaking to TV Week about the storyline, Alec explained: “Maybe he thought he had gotten away with it. To let Leah down is a massive thing. He feels horrible about it.”
These scenes are due to air in Australia next week and on Channel 5 in the UK in July.
