Missed it? Missed out…

There was drama galore on Sunday evening’s X Factor as Boot Camp got underway with a bang.

From Ryan Ruckledge causing trouble to major dramatics from Group 8 there was certainly a lot going on for viewers.

Joseph McCaul was a big hit with viewers this evening.

The Athlone man featured on the auditions on Saturday night, which was a big surprise to Irish fans, and he got through to Boot Camp after Simon gave him a second chance on the night.

His group for Boot Camp included some of our favourites such as Simon Lynch, Karen Mav, Sophie Stott and Tom Bleasby and they took on Michael Jackson’s classic Man in the Mirror.

Much to his delight, the Westmeath man was one of the chosen few to advance on to the next round.

Meanwhile Tipperary bar man Anton Banaghan who won the hearts of women everywhere with his rendition of George Ezra’s Budapest on Saturday night was also out to impress in Boot Camp.

The talented 21-year-old took to the stage with his group members to perform.

Unfortunately for him though, it looked like he didn’t get through – a fact that both infuriated and confused Twitter users.

And in case you missed it, here was another of our favourite performances on the night.
