If you were a teenager in the 90s, then there’s a good chance that you were a fan of Saved By The Bell.

While sequel Saved By The Bell: The New Class concluded in 2000, the series is to be revived in a new television movie by Lifetime and will look “behind the scenes” at Bayside High School.

According to Digital Spy, The Unauthorised Story Of Saved By The Bell will bring to life the story of six unknown young actors thrown into the Hollywood spotlight, and the challenges they face growing up under public scrutiny while trying to maintain the squeaky clean image of their popular characters both on and off-screen.

Obviously the original cast are a little too old to play high school students again so a new cast has been put in place featuring Dylan Everett as Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), Sam Kindseth as Dustin Diamond (Screech), Julian Works as Mario Lopez  (A.C. Slater), Alyssa Lynch as Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski), Tiera Skovbye as Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Sapano) and Taylor Russell McKenzie as Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle).
