This week’s Late Late Show could cure your pet’s ailment…
Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick, from Laois, will be in studio to chat about the pioneering surgeries that made him famous, from giving prosthetic titanium paws to Oscar the Bionic Cat, to the state-of-the-art keyhole surgery he uses daily to save animals lives.
He will also be diagnosing the nation’s ailing pets, using videos and pictures that have been sent in from viewers. They are encouraging people to submit any queries they have on Twitter using #LateLateSupervet or by emailing latelateextra@rte.ie.
Also on the show will be Grand National winning trainer Mouse Morris, who will chat about his recent victory at last weekend’s Grand National.
He’ll also be joined by his son Jamie Morris to talk about a tough year for the family following the tragic death of his son, Tiffer Morris, who passed away due to carbon monoxide poisoning.
Four of the best designs from Junk Kouture, a design competition where students create works from everyday items, will be shown on Friday. Ryan will also meet the winner of the competition and hear from judges Vogue Williams and Louis Walsh.
Journalist Emily Hourican, who recently shared her cancer battle with readers of the Sunday Independent, will be on the show telling Ryan why she chose to be so open about her battle with the disease in her Cancer Diary and how she is now.
British-Asian Muslim stand-up comedian Shazia Mirza will join Ryan to talk about her new show The Kardashians Made Me Do It, where she doesn’t mince her words about the women who fangirl on ISIS fighters.
All that and music from Luka Bloom, We Banjo 3 and YouTube sensation Bry.
