Former EastEnders star Phil Daniels has revealed that he thinks it’s time the soap came to an end.
The actor, who played the role of Kevin Wicks, explained that he thinks that the soap has had its time.

He told The Sun: “I’d take it off the telly if I could. I just think it’s run its course. It’s nothing to do with any of the acting as I think people do really good work in it.
“I just feel it is time for something different. EastEnders and Coronation Street seem a bit like the opium of the masses now. Why don’t they try something else for the British public?”
Rock & Chips was the prequel show to Only Fool and Horses.
Since leaving the show Phil has starred in New Tricks as well as Only Fools and Horses prequel Rock & Chips.
