First Dates Ireland’s Alannah Rose wasn’t happy with what the post-date synopsis said

First Dates Ireland is three episodes in and people can’t get enough of it.

To be fair, first dates are tough enough without the pressure of televising it and I say fair play to those who have signed up to the show.

There have been some brilliant moments, both hilarious and mortifying, with some hitting it off and others, not so much.

Alannah-Rose and Dawn fall into the latter category as they really didn’t see eye-to-eye and anyone who watched that episode might have been surprised to see the post-date summary read rather differently.

This is a popular segment with viewers as it explains what, good bad or indifferent, happened with the couples who met on the show.

Spotted on JOE.ie, the post-date caption for Alannah-Rose and Dawn’s date said that they partied in the George until late with Alannah describing it as “one of the best nights of her life”.

In reality, as explained by the below tweet, they went to The Workman’s with other people from the show and parted ways after ten minutes when Dawn took her leave of the place.

The caption was edited for the repeat of the show reading: “while romance was out of the question, Dawn and Alannah-Rose shared a taxi to the city-centre and soon after went their separate ways”.

Bring on Thursday’s episode which will undoubtedly include more drama…
