It has been revealed that the storyline involving Declan and Charity Macey in Emmerdale will end in the death of a character this week.
The couple’s relationship has taken some major twists and turns this week with Declan (Jason Merrells) trying to kill his wife during their break at a remote cottage.
But, according to Digital Spy, the tables are set to turn as Charity (Emma Atkins) is not dead. In fact, she hits back at her husband and manages to escape his clutches.
She then makes a break for it on a boat she finds at a nearby lake but Declan soon catches up with her when the engine fails.
Meanwhile Megan Macey, Robbie Lawson, Debbie Dingle and Pete Barton arrive in the area, concerned for Charity’s welfare.
What exactly happens next hasn’t been disclosed by show bosses but it has been confirmed that a body will be pulled from the lake in Friday’s episode.
Declan and Charity are at the centre of the soap’s dramatic storyline.
