EastEnders are reportedly planning to kill off a long-running character around Easter time.
According to Digital Spy, Lucy Beale will exit the show this spring in a storyline that executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins said should “shock and hopefully make the nation weep.”
Show bosses have not revealed any more details about what will happen but apparently only a handful of characters will know the true cause of her death.
Lucy Beale has appeared in the soap since 1993 and is a part that has been filled by a number of actresses however Hetti Bywater has played the role since 2012.
