EastEnders star Luisa Bradshaw-White has revealed that her character will “fall apart” next week.
The actress told Inside Soap that it will be an emotional week for her onscreen alter ego Tina Carter as the health of her father Stan deteriorates.
She explained: “She’s struggling with the prospect of losing him, because she does really love him.
“Even though he wasn’t the best dad when she was growing up, Tina kind of thinks that he’s made up for it. He’s an old git, but he’s a loveable git. And he’s definitely loved by all the viewers.”

After stepping up to take charge of his care, Tina reaches breaking point when Stan takes a turn for the worse.
“Stan has another one of his episodes and Tina just falls apart,” Luisa said. “So the rest of the family end up sending her home – they think she’s not going to be able to cope with him dying.
“Tina goes back to The Vic thinking that she’ll come in and see her dad again in the morning, but then he tragically dies that night.”
