Eastenders star John Partridge is returning to the show.
According to Radio Times, the actor, whom fans will recognise as Christian Clarke, will return alongside his on-screen mum, Linda, played by Lynda Baron.
Producers aren’t giving much away about the upcoming scenes but we can expect “a shocking storyline that is set to change the Beale family forever”.
John appeared on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year
Speaking about the news, John said he was delighted with the opportunity to make a comeback:
“I am thrilled to be able to return to EastEnders whilst touring the UK with Chicago. Christian is never far from my mind – I turn my back for five minutes and look what happens!”
Christian made a brief return last year to attend his sister Jane’s wedding but their mother Linda has not appeared on the show since 2009.
