EastEnders favourite Patrick Trueman is set to have a serious health scare on the show in the coming months.
The character, played by Rudolph Walker, is going to have a stroke. The storyline will include the warning signs, the stroke itself and the aftermath including the effect on his friends and family.
Speaking about it, Walker explained: “This is a truly important storyline as strokes affect so many different people, in so many different ways”.
The actor, who has been in the soap since 2001, added: “We are all working very hard on this and I really hope Patrick’s story can help raise awareness”.
