“Drama, Agony and Emotional Scenes” – Christmas is NOT Going to be Merry for one Corrie Couple

Two of the stars have spoken out about what's in store for their characters.

David and Kylie Platt are in for a dramatic Christmas according to Jack P Shepherd and Paula Lane who play the onscreen couple.

The Coronation Street stars have revealed that their characters are not going to be having a merry Christmas this year as Kylie’s drugs storyline comes to a head.

Shepherd told Digital Spy: “David is going to be having a very miserable Christmas. There’s lots of drama, agony and emotional scenes for David.”

The two stars have revealed that their characters are in for a dramatic Christmas.

Lane, who will be taking time off for maternity leave soon, added: “I think it’s safe to say there’ll be sparks flying and not for the right reason. There’s never a dull Christmas in the Platts’.

“Kylie’s had one bad Christmas after another so I think she should resign herself to the fact that she’s not destined to have a happy time during the festive season. Let’s just say Callum will be ruffling a few turkey feathers!”

Fans of the show will have seen Kylie get back in touch with her ex Callum Logan (Sean Ward) in recent weeks. He has been supplying her with drugs behind David’s back.
