Well, it was a weird one.
And to be honest, we think they were both in the wrong.
Basically, last night on Love Island Ellie told Alex that she doesn’t really have any feelings for him. Alex went a bit off the handle because he thought that Ellie didn’t even try with him.
It was all very dramatic and it ended veeery badly.
However, now Alex’s mates have taken to his Instagram page and made a statement about his reactions.
The post said: “It’s never nice to see your best friend wounded on national TV; and, after spending the entire week getting to know Alex, I can understand him questioning Ellie’s complete change of heart an hour or 2 after re-coupling.
“Despite a number of people warning that she was in it for the wrong reasons, we have to support the decisions he makes in the villa and hope that he learns from these experiences – at the end of the day he’s wearing his heart on his sleeve in an attempt to find love and will inevitably get hurt.
“Fingers crossed he continues to be the person we all love and support and I’m sure the right girl will come along.”
