Dr Alex is being lined up for a new TV role and he’d be perfect for it

Oh hell.

“He wants to use his newfound fame to educate the masses.”

Alex George was one of this year’s most entertaining Love Island contestants, right?

Whether you loved him or couldn’t stand him, Dr Alex kept us tuning in and contributed massively to Love Island memes over the course of the summer so it’d be a little anti-climactic if he just went back his former job as an A&E doctor.

Luckily, there might be a very nice TV gig coming his way as he could be the next This Morning resident doctor.

Alex, 27, is reportedly being considered by producers for the role on ITV’s flagship morning show after appearing on it as a guest this week.

He told hosts Ruth and Eamonn that medicine is his passion and that he’d “love to make that accessible to all audiences.”

“Producers were impressed with Alex following his time on the show this week – and were intrigued to hear him say how keen he was to pursue more TV work,” a source told The Sun.

“They believe it would be great to have a new face whose come from a show like Love Island and can appeal to a younger audience to give his insight on the medical world.

“He talks really passionately about his profession and is a big star thanks to his summer in the villa – but wants to use his newfound fame to educate the masses.”

We’d 100 per cent tune in.
