There’s nothing more upsetting than seeing your icon and personal heroes being portrayed by terrible actors who haven’t put an effort into their work.
But there are some actors who really take to the role and have their looks and mannerisms perfected to the extreme.
Here are seven actors who look suspiciously like the people they played:
1) Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin
Julianne Moore was absolutely brilliant as Sarah Palin in the movie Game Change and of course Tina Fey also does a great impression of her too!
2) Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln
Daniel Day-Lewis has always been known for his brilliant method acting and he really went to great lengths for his Lincoln role. If you haven’t seen this movie already it’s a must watch!
3) Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs
Surely they’re related somehow? Ashton Kutcher took the role of the legendary Apple icon Steve Jobs for the 2013 movie Jobs – uncanny!
4) Ben Kingsley as Ghandhi
Ben Kingsley is absolutely superb as Ghandhi in the 1982 biographical film on the Indian activist.
5) James Franco as James Dean
James Franco really captures the moody look of James Dean perfectly.
6) Stephen Fry as Oscar Wilde
We’re pretty sure that Stephen Fry is Oscar Wilde reincarnated!
7) Robert Downey Jr as Charlie Chaplin
Spot on! Robert Downey Jr makes an excellent Charlie Chaplin.
