Denise Van Outen has spoken out about what’s in store for her character in EastEnders.
The actress, who revealed earlier this month that she had landed a guest stint on the popular soap, has hinted at a possible romance… or two.
“It’s not just one person – that’s all I’m saying,” she revealed. “My character will come in and I’m going to cause some trouble.”
Denise would like Max to be her onscreen love interest.
Denise then admitted that she wouldn’t mind her character hooking up with Max Branning (Jake Wood) before saying she previously turned down the show.
“The first time they approached me, I’d just fell pregnant with Betsey and couldn’t tell them… But this time I felt like the character was right and I’m just dipping in for a few episodes to see how it goes.
“Also, they’re celebrating their 30th anniversary so it’s a brilliant time to be involved. It felt right.”
