Danniella Westbrook has taken to Twitter to deny rumours she was axed from Eastenders.
There have been reports that the actress was hoping for a full-time role on the show but she has said this isn’t true.
The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant took to the social media site to say that the rumours were “crap” and that she was ready to “call another soap home now”.
I had two weeks work 2 do @bbceastenders a funeral to shoot. Nothing with Peggy or grant. I was not sacked or axed I just did 4 episodes ?

Danniella, who left the soap six years ago, had returned to reprise her role as Sam Mitchell in a storyline centred around her on-screen mother Peggy.
