Coronation Street bosses have revealed that there will be a “shocking twist” next week following the death of Tina McIntyre.
Next Tuesday Tina, played by Michelle Keegan, will be seen falling from a balcony at the builders’ yard after an altercation with her killer.
In the days leading up to the episode, fans will apparently be able to watch four alternative showdowns with the four key suspects (Peter Barlow, Carla Barlow, Rob Donovan and Tracy Barlow) on the soap’s website.
But producers have revealed that, as well as the dramatic death, there will also be a twist the following day as the police begin their investigation.
Speaking about the moment she found out her character was going to be killed off, Michelle said: “I was shocked… My heart stopped when I first found out.
“I do completely understand why she’s being killed though. It’s an amazing storyline and it will affect so many characters on the Street for the next year”.
