It’s all kicking off on Corrie.
Last week, viewers saw villain Pat Phelan spy on Seb which led people to think that he’s decided on his next victim.
While the Phelan storyline is one of the main plots on the show at present, the Zeedan/Rana/Kate love triangle is about to get even more complicated.
Although Rana and Kate have told people about their feelings for each other, the path of true love doesn’t run smoothly.
Rana’s parents are aghast at her choice to be with Kate and have devised a plan to take her away from Weatherfield, for good.
They plan on taking her back to Pakistan, thus putting an end to her relationship with Kate.
We’re not quite sure how but Kate manages to find out what Rana’s parents have planned and both she and the couple’s friends, Imran and Yasmeen, rush to rescue Rana.
A source told The Daily Star:
“Rana’s family will do whatever it takes to stop their daughter bringing shame upon them – even if it means sending her away.
“The hardest thing for Rana was to tell Zeedan, her husband, and family that she was in love with another woman.”
“All she wants to do is be herself, but they won’t let her. As she continues to defy her family they decide they have no choice but to send her away to Pakistan”.
The scenes are set to air next week so and you’re a Corrie fan, you won’t want to miss the dramatic episode.
