Coronation Street is set to air one of its most heartbreaking storylines.
According to reports, Fiz Stape’s daughter Hope is going to be diagnosed with neuroblastoma – a highly aggressive form of cancer.
The Mirror claims that show bosses consulted the Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer Alliance about the storyline which will air later this year.

A source told the newspaper: “Producers have gone to great lengths to understand as much about this cancer as possible.
“They want to portray accurately and sensitively what must be a very distressing time for parents and sufferers alike.
“These will be some of the most heart-wrenching scenes ever seen on the show.”
