Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor has revealed that she is “terrified” about the upcoming live episode.
The actress, who plays Sally Webster in the show, will be at the centre of the drama as her fiancé Tim is going to find out that she kissed her ex-husband Kevin.
According to Digital Spy, Sally said: “I’m feeling nervous… It’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done, because you just don’t want to be the one who messes up Coronation Street after years and years and years.
“It’s terrifying. I’ll have sleepless nights beforehand – I know that I’ll have the script there and I’ll go through it every night!”
She shared a kiss with her ex Kevin (image: ITV).
As for what will unfold for her character in the special, she explained: “Sally will be devastated that the kiss comes out because she’s been trying to keep that in.
“It was only a moment of madness and it didn’t mean anything, but I think she’s really worried about Tim’s reaction because he is quite a sensitive soul. Kevin is also his best friend.
“I think Sally does have feelings for Kevin because they were married for 20-odd years. They were also remarried, so they’ve definitely gone through a lot. I think there is a connection there, but he’s more of a friend and she’s overstepped the mark.”
The live episode of Coronation Street, which celebrates the 60th anniversary of the soap, will air on September 23rd.
