Krissi Bohn is leaving Coronation Street after two years.
The actress, who plays Jenna Kamara, is being written out of the soap this summer after show bosses decided not to renew her contract.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper about her exit, she explained: “I have enjoyed every single moment of my time on The Street.
“Although I am disappointed not to have my contract renewed, I am thankful for all the experience I’ve gained and look forward to whatever the future may hold”.
Krissi’s character, who was the daughter of Lloyd (Craig Charles) and Mandy Kamara (Pamela Nomvete), enjoyed a number of storylines during her time on the show including a lesbian relationship.
Krissi Bohn has played the role of Jenna Kamara for two years now.
