Coronation Street star Alison King has revealed that her character is in for some serious drama.
The actress, who plays Carla Connor in the soap, said that it’s going to be a memorable end to the year for her onscreen family.

She told Inside Soap: “The Connors have an interesting December on the cards.
“With the arrival of Aidan’s dad Johnny and sister Kate, Carla has this new family around her, but it’s going to head to a life-changing event for her and the others.”

Alison will be taking a break from the show next year but not before things kick off. Her brother Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) will apparently be pulling some strings.
The 42-year-old explained: “It’s all a consequence of her brother Rob messing with all of the Connors’ lives.”
