Coronation Street is planning another major stunt on the cobbles.
Digital Spy reports that the cast and crew were filming the stunt, said to be a fire at the Victoria Court flats, at their base on Tuesday night.
This led to a number of calls from local residents to emergency services who later confirmed that the fire was not real but part of the soap’s special effects.
As yet, no other details about the storyline have been released but it is thought that the scenes will air next month.
Over the years, Corrie has executed a number of major stunts including the fire at The Rovers in 2013 and the tram crash of 2010.
