Actress Susie Blake will return to Coronation Street for episodes set to include Deirdre Barlow’s funeral.
Blake played Bev Unwin in the popular soap from 2003 to 2006.

According to the soap storyline, Deirdre had been staying with Bev since October of last year.
Anne Kirkbride, the actress who played iconic character Deirdre Barlow, sadly passed away in January at the age of 60. She had served an incredible 42 years on the soap at the time of her death and producers are said to be working hard to give her a fitting send-off.

The news of Deirdre’s death will reach the Weatherfield residents over the summer, with emotional funeral scenes set to follow.
