The Million Pound Drop has been dropped apparently.
According to The Sun, Channel 4 has axed the show in a bid to save money.
An insider told them, “Bosses have decided to put their money into other shows and there are no plans currently to bring back Million Pound Drop. People say it’s a shame as it had a big following.”
Although Channel 4 hasn’t confirmed this news but they did comment on the show recently saying, “Million Pound Drop is not currently in the schedule but could come back at some stage.”
The game show, which began in 2010,was hosted by Davina McCall and saw contestants answering multiple choice questions by putting sums of money over trap doors with their chosen answers. If they chose the wrong answer they lose that sum of money.
