EastEnders executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins has spoken out about Kathy Beale’s return to Albert Square.
As you may already know, she made a shock return during ‘Live Week’ in February, nine years after she was seemingly killed in a car accident.
Phil and Kathy, played by Steve McFadden and Gillian Taylforth.
He revealed that she will make another brief appearance before returning on a full-time basis later this year.
Dominic told Radio Times: “We’ve storylined her return properly. You’ll see a flash of Kathy fairly soon and then boom! She’s already filmed her next little tease.”
The actress is happy about returning to Walford (images via BBC).
Gillian Taylforth, who plays the role of Kathy, said it was “absolutely wonderful” to reprise her role in the popular BBC soap.
