Terry Alderton, who plays Terry Spraggan in EastEnders, is to leave the show in July.
The actor revealed the news today via his Twitter page with the words: “So, I’m leaving EastEnders in July. Unfortunately Patsy leaving has changed things in the story. It’s very sad but it’s been a great ride.”

Comedian and actor also said that this rules him out as Lucy Beale’s killer but then added another cryptic tweet.

Terry arrived on Albert Square in November and was introduced as Bianca Butcher’s boyfriend. However, Bianca, played by Patsy Palmer revealed her decision to quit the show earlier this month.

Terry joined the show in November 2013
43-year-old Terry was the first signing of EastEnders’ current executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins when he took the helm at the popular soap last summer.
