By the beard of Zeus, you guys just can’t get enough of Anchorman and they really can’t get enough of it being in the cinema (we can’t wait for the quote along event that will have to make an appearance soon) so Anchorman 2 is heading back to a film screen near you.
Paramount have announced this morning that Anchorman 2 will be back on the big screen for one week only with the inclusion of, wait for it, 763 new jokes (give or take) from Ron Burgundy and his 24-hour news team.
“When my editor told me we had a whole different version of the movie that was more than two hours long with nearly 800 new jokes, I was shocked. But when Paramount said they were actually going to put it in theatres, I did a 1950’s spit take. If you’re a hardcore Anchorman fan, go see this. If you’re not, stay very far away,” said writer / director Adam McKay.
Note. You have been warned. They’ve even released a brand new trailer for the film.
Anchorman 2 will be back in cinemas from February 28th. Stay classy!
