Brooks Way will not be returning to this year’s X Factor.
Just before Saturday night’s live show, it was announced via the X Factor Twitter account that the act would not be performing due to unforeseen circumstances.
Chatting on This Morning today, Rylan Clark said that the duo wouldn’t be returning to the reality TV competition and since then, an X Factor spokesperson has commented on the news:
Speaking to The Daily Mail, a representative for the show said:
“Following the allegations relating to Josh Brooks, we have decided by mutual consent that Brooks Way should leave the competition”.
Josh has also confirmed the news, saying that he and Kyle have left the show.
‘”Due to events in my personal life I’ve decided that it’s best not to be on the show at this time.
“While not everything that has been claimed is true I would like to apologise to everyone involved”.
The decision comes amidst allegations from Josh’s girlfriend, that he physically violent during their relationship. Josh has vehemently denied these claims.
Josh and Kyle have denied these reports, taking their Twitter account to say “the truth always wins”.
