What a performance!
The Irish are taking over The X Factor these days, with Joseph McCaul banging out a Whitney Houston track on the auditions Saturday night, and Tipperary lad Anton Banaghan wowing everyone.
The 21-year-old took to the stage in front of this year’s judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw and absolutely blew them away with his version of Budapest by George Ezra.
The crowd were on their feet and Cheryl told the talented lad: “Everything you did on stage took star quality and you have star quality.”
While Simon wasn’t his biggest fan, Anton still booked his spot in Boot Camp.
