12 Ways ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ Would Be Different Had It Been Set In Ireland

Have you ever imagined what it would have been like had ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ been set in Ireland?

Rebecca McKnight

Have you ever imagined what it would have been like had The Devil Wears Prada, starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, been set in Ireland? Well, firstly, it would have been called The Devil Wears Penneys. Here’s what else would be different…

1. We probably wouldn’t have gone near her in the first place.

2. We think wearing sunglasses inside is stupid.

3. Love is a strong word.

4. This isn’t panic.

This is.

5. If there’s one thing we know from strolling about Brown Thomas, it’s our designer brands.

6. The bus is like our second home.

7. There’s no way we would have let her get away with this one (especially considering the skirt is from Penneys).

8. We never shut up and we can’t keep secrets.

9. Everybody knows tea is our hot drink of choice.

10. We eat carbs. All day, every day. Deal with it.

11. You call THAT a midnight feast? But there’s not a chocolate bar in sight!

12. Push her. Push her now.

Honorary mention… this is pretty accurate.
