You can now take a class dedicated to Beyoncé at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Spotted on Cosmopolitan, Politicising Beyoncé, is a class taught by Kevin Allred and it teaches students about race, gender and feminism using Beyoncé lyrics.
Sounds much more fun than our uni days
Allred explained how he pairs feminist readings with Beyoncé numbers, Alice Walker’s ‘Womanism’ and Grown Woman for example, and it sounds like something we need to get on board with.
Can we go back to college and get a visa and move to America? PLEASE.
