It has been 14 years since Eminem released his incredible Marshall Matthers LP and today we’re singing one of its hits for all the wrong reasons…
Eminem made a surprise appearance to honour Dr. Dre and Jimmy Lovine at the Wall Street Journal Innovator of the Year Awards in New York.
Donning his staple black leather jacket and beanie hat, the 42-year-old rapper’s appearance left fans a little shocked.

The rapper’s physical appearance is making headlines.
The Grammy Award winner looked visibly gaunt in his face and barely recognisable to some. Many have suggested this drastic change in looks is a result of years of drug abuse.

Eminem back in his heyday.
In a documentary that aired last year, the singer admitted to almost dying following a drug overdose, revealing: “My organs were shutting down. My liver, kidneys, everything. They were gonna have to put me on dialysis, they didn’t think I was gonna make it”.

The event, which took place on Wednesday evening, saw the ‘Stan’ hitmaker pay tribute to mentors Dre and Levine in a fantastic speech, describing the duo as a ‘force of nature’.
“When Jimmy and Dre put their minds to something, get on board or get the fuck out of the way,” he said.
“Dre and Jimmy are like a force of nature… As an example of how powerful they are, they had me fly here all the way from Detroit to speak publicly, and I really hate public speaking”.
Following the success of Beats, which was recently purchased by Apple for $3 billion, the pair have just launched a new dream factory academy at the University of Southern California to help aid the next generation of entrepreneurs.
