Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, revealed on Twitter that she has tied the knot with her boyfriend, Nick Gordon.
The 20-year-old daughter of Houston posted a picture of the couple’s wedding rings to Twitter to announce the news.
She captioned the picture: “@nickgordon! #HappilyMarried. SO #Inlove. If you didn’t get it the first time that is.”
Due to disapproval from the family, the pair initially called off their engagement in 2012. Nick had been unofficially adopted by Houston when he was 12 and so the family considered him a brother to Bobbi.
However, in July of this year, they announced the engagement was very much on.
“Yes, me and Nick are engaged. I’m tired of hearing people say, ‘Eww you’re engaged to your brother’ or ‘If Whitney was still alive, would we be together or would she approve of this?'” she wrote on Facebook. “Let me clear up something, we aren’t even real brother and sister, nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating.”
Brown also hinted on Twitter that she would have more big news on the way this week: “BIGGGG things in store guys . . . I’m so excited!” she wrote. “We bouta change the world babbbbby! #bringEmOut! #Getready! xO!”
