Xposé presenter Lisa Cannon has confirmed her engagement to Welsh rugby player boyfriend, Richard Keatley.
Richard proposed to the TV presenter on the 27th October while the pair were on a romantic break in Paris.
After taking in the sights of the city, Richard popped the question in the gardens of Le Palais Royal by getting down on one knee and he also arranged for a musician to perform the Snow Patrol song, Just Say Yes.
To propose to Lisa, her fiance used her mother’s art deco vintage engagement ring.
However, he plans to propose again at Wexford’s Marfield House today with a ring flown in from New York.

Lisa has said she was shocked when her partner of two years asked her to marry him, “I was completely shocked when Richard got down on one knee. I was so overwhelmed. The way he did it, everything was meticulously thought through and organised with such tenderness and love – it was VERY romantic. It was also very emotional and definitely the happiest day of my life so far.
Explaining her decision to keep her engagement quiet for a period of time, Lisa said: “I just wanted to enjoy this special personal time with my family and very close friends first. I’ve been on cloud 9 for the last six weeks and am just so happy and thrilled that its happened, I just felt now was the right time to let everyone else know too so we can all celebrate and share this joyous news at Christmas time.”
The presenter also congratulated colleague Glenda Gilson on her recent engagement,“I’m over the moon for Glenda. Both her and Rob make a lovely couple! Its great news all round here at TV3.”
