The perils of live television…
He’s a face that many of us have grown up with, Brian Dobson has been in the business of live broadcasting for several years now, almost 30 in fact and so it goes without saying that the man is a pro at this stage.
Dobson, who we affectionately refer to as Big BD or Dobsy for short, has been presenting the Six One News since 1996 and in all his years has rarely made a mistake, until this evening that is.
With various different intro styles for the news, one of which includes Dobson standing up and reading out the headlines before taking to his seat, however that was not the chosen opening for tonight’s broadcast, unfortunately he missed the memo.
