Top Irish model Thalia Heffernan shared horrific details of a vicious mugging attack in Dublin yesterday morning, posting a warning message to her Facebook followers.
The model was en route to work yesterday morning when she was targeted by a group of vicious teenagers.
Detailing the attack, the 20-year old wrote “hit me three or more times in the face, elbowed and shoved me in an attempt to pull my backpack off my arm, while another young guy came behind me and grabbed the other side.”

Speaking to Brendan O’Connor on RTE Radio One this morning, the stunning Dubliner said:
“I wasn’t trying to highlight what happened to me individually, I was tying to highlight what’s happening on a larger scale around the city and the vulnerability of people.
“They’re attacking at that hour of the morning where you wouldn’t be expecting them and they do hide.”
Thalia made her incident public, hoping to create awareness for others walking around Dublin city early in the morning.
She thanked the public for their support and well-wishes, and is now working with the Gardaí in their investigation.
