Tayor Swift has landed a film role starring alongside David Beckham, according to today’s reports.
The Love Story singer is set to star in The Secret Service, directed by Layer Cake’s Matthew Vaughn.
The singer will be part of an all-star cast including Colin Firth, Michael Caine and Samuel L. Jackson, who is set to play the villain. David Beckham has reportedly been offered a cameo in the film as have Adele and Elton John.
Ms Swift is expected to start filming her scenes later this year with the film set for release in November 2014.
“Filming commences in October and will take place mainly in London and the South of France,” a source told the Mirror. “Matthew looked at a number of actresses to play the part before settling on Taylor – apparently she was a natural on the big screen. She’s also someone fresh and unseen in Hollywood terms which was massively appealing.”

We may see a different side to the sweet and wholesome pop-star as she will be required to take some martial arts training. “She will be required to have some heavy-duty martial arts training in order that her character can convincingly kick Samuel L Jackson’s butt,” revealed the source.
Oh and Victoria may have to watch out as Taylor is apparently excited about working with the fashion designer’s husband. “She is also looking forward to working with David Beckham who she thinks is amazing looking – but taken.”
