The Unexpected Fashion Item That Prince George Has Made Cool

Looks like the fashion faux-pas has gotten royal approval.

Prince George is probably the most influential infant in the world right now.

Kate Middleton is widely regarded as the trendsetter of the royal family, however it seems she is no longer the only royal with serious sartorial influence.

It’s not just Kate who’s a royal icon.

Prince George has had the eyes of the world trained on him since his birth in July 2013, and almost everything he has worn has sold out instantly.

Now, the royal toddler has given the humble Croc a second wind, after wearing the budget footwear brand to the Beaufort Polo club this weekend.

The crocs sold out within a day of Prince George wearing them.

The miniature style icon wore Kids Crocbands in Navy and paired them with a little navy cardigan, navy shorts and a crisp white shirt.

And, true to form, once the photographs of George wearing the Crocs surfaced, the love-em-or-hate-em shoes sold out almost instantly.

On the brand’s website a notice reads: “Size 2 is temporarily out of stock. Enter your email and we’ll notify you when the item is restocked.”

The Prince looks like he had a ball at the Polo.

And it’s not just Prince George’s footwear that is causing a stir. The Olivier Baby and Kids cashmere cardigan worn by the Prince has also sold out after the company used their famous customer to promote it on their website.

The site states that the cardigan is “one of Prince George’s favourite cardigans. This is a must-have for all boys especially after Prince George was spotted wearing his at the polo!”

It’s the Prince George effect.
