There’s just over two weeks to go until Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
And, as the date grows closer and closer, more details about the couple’s impending nuptials are being shared (though, no, we still don’t know what her dress looks like.)
There’s been plenty of talk about who is or isn’t going to be in the former actress’ bridal party when she exchanges vows with Prince Harry on May 19.
But it’s now being said that Meghan will not have a bridesmaid on her big day…and it’s actually for a very relatable reason.

According to Cosmopolitan UK, the bride-to-be was not able to single out one friend for the role – so she decided not to have one.
A spokesperson also confirmed to the publication that all of the former actress’ bridesmaids are children.
They said:
“Ms. Markle will not have a Maid of Honour.
“She has a very close-knit group of friends and she did not want to choose one over the other.
“They have all been actively involved in helping her prepare and will be there with her to celebrate on the day.”

It comes as Kensington Palace announced more details about the couple’s wedding in a lengthy statement on Friday morning.
They revealed that both of Meghan’s parents will be flying to the UK in the coming days to spend the lead up to the big day wth Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The statement continued:
“Both of the bride’s parents will have important roles in the wedding.
“On the morning of the wedding, Ms. Ragland will travel with Ms. Markle by car to Windsor Castle.
“Mr. Markle will walk his daughter down the aisle of St George’s Chapel.
“Ms. Markle is delighted to have her parents by her side on this important and happy occasion.”
