Since leaving the Love Island villa, a number of the contestants have been making personal appearances in numerous nightclubs across the UK and Ireland.
However, Megan Barton cancelled all of her upcoming appearances recently and now the reason for this decision has come to light.
The reality TV show star had been due to attend Lourenzos nightclub in Dunfermline to meet and greet fans but ahead of the appearance, the nightclub announced via social media that Megan couldn’t make it due to “personal reasons”.
Chatting to OK Online, a source close to Megan revealed that she has decided to focus on a few projects rather than try and attend all the nightclub appearances scheduled in.
The insider explained:
“These PA tours, although very lucrative, require spending three to four nights a week away from home travelling around the country, sometimes to multiple venues per night, venue to venue in the back of a vehicle, eating from motorway service stations while getting very little sleep”.
“Megan just didn’t feel this was something she wanted to do. She is instead focused on a few key projects which she will let people know about over the coming weeks”.
The Southend-on-Sea native recently graced the cover of Grazia and it sounds like she might have a few more exciting things planned.
