Jennifer Lawrence has topped the poll as being the highest paid actress in the world, scooping an impressive $52,000,000 in film deals this year.
The Hunger Games actress was followed by Scarlett Johansson and Melissa McCarthy to round off this year’s top three female Hollywood earners.
The 25-year old was previously ranked as the highest grossing action heroine ever thanks to her work on the cult sci-fi franchise.
Looking at the complete list, compiled by Forbes, the top earners was largely dominated by American actresses, with the exception of Chinese actress Bingbing Fan, and both Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman who were born in Ukraine and Israel but hold US citizenship:
