A terminally ill teenage fan has died a day after he received a surprise home visit from his favourite rapper Eminem.
Gage Garmo was diagnosed with bone cancer three years ago, when he was a freshman at Rochester High School.
The 17-year old fan had a wish fulfilled when Detroit native Eminem stopped by Sunday evening to surprise the teen who was battling with cancer.
According to the Detroit Free Press, the pair sat in the family’s living room talking about hip-hop and football for an hour before Gage was tired.
Friends and classmates took to social media to spread Gage’s last wish to meet Eminem, his musical hero, after he learned last week that he had just days left to live.
Following the surprise visit, Gage’s parents confirmed that their son had died in his family home on Monday.
