Strictly Come Dancing star and professional dancer Robin Windsor has proposed to his boyfriend Davide Cini.
Windsor proposed to him on a helicopter ride during a trip to New York. Former Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley (pictured above) and Robin’s partner on last year’s Strictly, was with them on the trip.
Following the proposal, Davide tweeted: “I’m the happiest man on earth!! I love you so so much.”
According to reports, Bruce Forsyth is set to give a speech at the wedding!
The happy couple plan to marry next summer with a Broadway theme for the wedding.
Robin’s fellow dancers Flavia Cacace and Vincent Simone are set to choreograph the newlyweds’ first dance.
“I’d been planning the proposal with Lisa’s help since March,” said Robin.
“It was absolutely the most romantic thing I could ever think of.”
“Everyone on Strictly was thrilled for us. Of course it would be absolutely amazing if Bruce got up and did something but we’ll have to see!”
“Davide’s always wanted to learn the Argentine tango but annoyingly it’s not my forte so I’m hoping to get a bit of help from Flavia or Vincent.”
